We arrived just in time (thanks to the complimentary valet service in the attached garage) to order happy hour drinks at the bar! This particular bar (they have a few) was surrounded on three sides by glass and opened up onto their outside patio/lounge area! The bar itself had a rustic, industrial feel, but maintained a high-end look with, for example, it's stone, lit from the inside, bar top! The group sampled a few of the $5 happy hour cocktails, and all were thoroughly enjoyed!
The service was outstanding. We had drinks right away, and bread soon to follow.
At this point, we had high expectations, and the appetizers did not disappoint; in fact we passed almost every dish around the table for everyone to try!
The excitement was building as we anticipated the arrival of our main courses ...
When it came time for dessert, everyone's huger was satisfied, but some of us still couldn't say no, I mean 20 layer crepe cake (yes, we attempted to count) and a restaurant-made ice cream sundae with caramel corn ...
Everyone had so much fun (shout out to the three new people that joined the group this time around), and just when we thought it was about to end - even paying the bill was a delight!
SUCH a great meal! Again, one of our favorites, highly recommend it, and definitely plan to go back!
#19 on our list is Fork and Wrench, which we have already been to, so next up will be #18 Birroteca!
